Our ongoing collaboration with Firefighters Without Borders (FWB) from Canada has been vital in building and expanding our capabilities. FWB continues to provide essential firefighting equipment and expert training, and their support has evolved to include other first responders across the island of Eleuthera. Their visits and ongoing guidance have not only strengthened our firefighting team but also fostered collaboration and preparedness among emergency personnel island-wide.
In addition to FWB, we have received generous support from other fire departments and individuals who have donated firefighting equipment and conducted valuable training for our team. These contributions have been instrumental in enhancing the readiness and effectiveness of Governor’s Harbour Fire Rescue, enabling us to better serve our community and respond to emergencies.
